MUSICATION 4 is here, presented by Projectivity and Stereotype Co! The 4th Annual Music and Arts Festival at 5050 Skatepark (354 Front St.) will take place on Friday, November 18 at 6pm. The festival is a benefit event to raise money for music and art supplies in public schools through the Staten Island Arts Lark Fund. Every year, dozens of artists, musicians and visionaries contribute to an amazing showcase meant to inspire everyone interested in the arts. Always aiming to motivate and engage the youth, Musication plans to keep things fun with this years theme of Video Games.
At Musication 4, over 40 artists (too many to list) are donating art inspired by video games that will be available through silent auction. All proceeds will go to the Lark Fund. In addition, this year's lineup of feature entertainment consists of some of Staten Island's best DJs as well as some amazing up and coming talent from the high schools of Staten Island. The full roster includes Lujan Beatbox, Cheyanne, Chris Viola, and Tyler Chase (all Tottenville HS), Day Day Beez (New Dorp HS), well known island nativesWilliam Starda Perry and Paul Marz, and MeKo Sky from the Bronx. Featured DJs will be 1Way TKT, Dizzle, Taiwan DjShame Moss, and MIO SOUL aka Mio Soulicious
The highlight of this year's festival will be the video game tournaments. 5 different screens with classic video games from an array of different gaming systems including N64, Playstation and Xbox. Winners for the tournaments will get $100 each and gift bags from all the sponsors. Anyone interested in competing can visit the StereotypeCo.com/Musication4 web link. There will also be some classic pay-to-play games to help raise more funds for the cause. In addition to video game tournaments, there will also be rounds of video game trivia with prizes for the winners. Games and trivia are meant for all ages, covering everything from modern games to the classics for everyone to get involved and help support such a great cause.
The past 3 years have raised over $3,000 for the Lark Fund, which provides mini grants of up to $500 for schools on Staten Island to repair instruments and purchase necessary art supplies.

Projectivity recently became a 501c3 non-profit and will be able to accept all tax deductible donations to help provide schools with necessary funds to support the arts.
